BOTADO COURSE - DESCRIPTION
This 9-hole course is an integral part of the Atlântico Golfe Hotel on the sandy beach near to the fishing port of Peniche.

The town of Peniche is about 80 kilometres to the north of Lisbon. As to be expected on this Links style course there are sufficient sand hazards to keep the player's concentration in seeking to achieve accuracy. The longest hole is the par-5 fifth of 429 metres, and the shortest is the par-3 sixth of 143 meters. Water hazards await the wayward ball - especially on the tricky first hole which is a lengthy par-4.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO FIND THE COURSE Drive out of Lisbon on the A8 (IC1/IP6) in the direction of Caldas da Rainha and leave the motorway at the Peniche Exit and head west towards Peniche. Later turn left at Geraldes and drive south towards Lourinhã on the EN 217. Shortly turn right to Consolação where the course is located.
