MONTEBELO COURSE - DESCRIPTION
Located between the mountains Serra da Estrela and Serra do Caramulo. The beauty of the course combines perfectly with the interesting layout and lovers of golf will be drawn by the features of the course - whatever their handicap.

Doglegs are a constant feature of this course and the final sequence is truly unforgettable. The last three holes provide breathtaking views over valleys, streams, hills, lakes and well protected greens. The most memorable hole is the 12th as a long par 3, running downhill to the green with a bunker to the left and a lake behind. The hole is considered to reflect “the soul of the course” because of its challenging physical characteristics and the unique landscape. The second hole with its dogleg on the left is also memorable for those who play at Montebelo. With 482 meters (yellows), it is the longest on the course with the hills of Caramulo as its background. Hole ten with a par of 5, is on the highest point of the course. From the tee which is next to the Club House, players can admire a wonderful and endless view of the region.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO FIND THE COURSE
From Lisbon - Take road to Viseu. At kms 111 turn off to São Miguel do Outeiro-Sabugosa-Parada de Gonta Exit. The course which is about 5.5 kms further on this road and is signposted from this point - Location Map

From Porto - Take the IP5 to Viseu and at kms 75 turn off at the Tondela-Caramulo Exit. The course is signposted from here and is about 10.5 kms further down this road.
